The Heidelberg Campus community is deeply moved and profoundly grateful for the remarkable generosity of Ms. Ntswaki Mafale. In a heartwarming response to the recently launched Social Outreach Program—an initiative dedicated to supporting students grappling with financial difficulties—Ms. Mafale has made a significant donation that promises to make a tangible difference in the lives of many.

Ms. Mafale, the esteemed owner of Modern Mews Student Accommodation, a reputable NSFAS-accredited facility currently providing a comfortable home for 24 Sedibeng TVET College students from our Heidelberg Campus, has exemplified the true essence of Ubuntu. Her timely and selfless act is a powerful reminder that “it takes a village to raise a child,” and she has become a vital thread in the tapestry of support that upholds our students.

The impact of Ms. Mafale’s contribution extends beyond financial relief—it has sparked hope, fostered unity, and strengthened the spirit of community within our campus. By lightening the burdens faced by our students, she has not only offered practical help, but also inspired renewed dreams and a sense of belonging. Heidelberg Campus deeply appreciates her unwavering dedication to student welfare and hopes her generosity will inspire other community members to rise and support those in need.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to Ms. Mjilibe and Ms. Monaheng, whose passion and persistence played a key role in securing this heartfelt donation. Their leadership and commitment to student success perfectly reflect the compassionate spirit that Heidelberg Campus is proud to nurture.

As we continue to build partnerships that empower and uplift, Ms. Mafale’s generosity stands as a shining beacon of what’s possible when hearts and hands come together in support of education. Together, we weave a future where every student can thrive and unlock their full potential.
